Finding Books at MPL

Our Librarians are always happy to assist you in finding books that are accessible and meet your needs. If you need assistance finding books or changing the font on ebooks please reach out to a librarian!

People with dyslexia often have an easier time reading font that is sans-serif, with larger line spacing.

Try searching: “dyslexic-friendly font” under general notes in the catalog.

Other options for easier to read physical materials includes:

  • Reading Large Print (LTP)
  • Checking out the book and Playaway or audio book on CD
  • Try Graphic novels – text can be more manageable in smaller chunks; pictures guide attention and give clues

eBooks & Audio Books

Change Font to “OpenDyslexic”
