Library Assistant 2, Learning and Information Services
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide outstanding customer service to customers of all ages. The primary responsibility of this position is providing customer assistance, reader’s advisory, and supervision in the library’s children’s, teen and adult service areas. The selected candidate may also assist with programs and special events.
Requires a high school degree or equivalent and at least one year in customer service. Library experience, some college or equivalent education. Experience working with children and teens is beneficial. The schedule includes a rotation of days, evenings, and weekends; 18 hours per week, $15.00/hour. Must be available year-round, including summer and school breaks.
