Circulation Supervisor
The library is seeking candidates for a Circulation Supervisor to assist with the supervision of the Circulation Department Library Assistant 2s, including their selection, training, scheduling, and evaluation. This position interprets library policy and procedures for the library staff and the general public. Duties also include providing customer service at the Circulation Desk, performing assigned tasks that contribute to the success and smooth operation of the department, serving as back-up for department operations in absence of the department manager, and acting as Librarian in Charge (LIC) by taking primary responsibility for library building maintenance and security, customers, and staff on a rotating basis. The salary is $21.22/hour; $44,139.03/year, 40 hours/week, benefits-eligible position. The schedule rotates among mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Up to three closing shifts per week (12-9 p.m.) and every other weekend are scheduled. See the job description posted on the library’s web site for all essential competencies and duties.

Teen Services Librarian
We are looking for a dynamic individual to plan and execute services for youth in grades 6 to 12. Our ideal candidate will have enthusiasm for working with teens and knowledge of young adult literature. The ability to demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential.
The responsibilities for this position include:
- Identifies needs for teens in the community, and plans and coordinates services to meet those needs.
- Provides outstanding customer service to all ages, including reference and readers advisory.
- Manages the Teen Zone as a safe and positive space for teens to hang out, study, navigate a complex world, improve literacy, and develop workforce readiness.
- Maintains an engaging teen area with displays and other passive readers advisory.
- Administers the teen volunteer program.
- Partners with local schools and organizations to serve the needs of community teens.
Desired qualifications:
- Completion of a minimum of 50% of course credits toward a Master’s of Library Science from an (ALA) accredited university.
- One year of experience working with teens.
- One year of library experience.
- Knowledge of anime, manga, graphic novels, and video games.
This is a 40 hour/week position, including days, evenings, and weekends. The starting salary is $20.21/hour and includes a generous benefits package.
